Papers Please Online is a unique puzzle simulation game developed by indie game creator Lucas Pope. Set in the dystopian world of Arstotzka, the game puts players in the shoes of an immigration officer tasked with processing entrants at a border checkpoint. Players must inspect documents, verify information, and decide whether to allow or deny entry to individuals. - Ring the Bell: Click the bell to call the next applicant to your desk.
- Check Documents: Carefully review the applicant’s documents for any mistakes or inconsistencies.
- Enter Inspection Mode: Click the inspect button located at the bottom right of the screen to start inspecting.
- Highlight Discrepancies: In inspection mode, highlight any two pieces of information that don’t match. This will allow you to use the denial stamp.
- Use Rules & Regulations: Refer to the Rules & Regulations guide to identify and highlight any errors in the documents.
- Approve or Deny: Extend the stamp bar on the right-hand side and stamp the documents to either approve or deny entry. Make sure to return all stamped documents to the applicant.
Note: Every applicant has at least one issue with their documents.
