Lemmings is a timeless puzzle game that first graced the gaming world in 1991. Developed by DMA Design (now known as Rockstar North) and published by Psygnosis, the game has charmed players for decades with its unique gameplay mechanics and challenging puzzles.

Gameplay

In Lemmings Online, players guide a group of small, anthropomorphized creatures called lemmings from their entry point to an exit on each level. The lemmings mindlessly march forward, and it’s up to the player to assign them various roles to ensure their survival and successful navigation through a series of obstacles. These roles include:
  • Digger: Digs through the ground to create a path.
  • Builder: Constructs stairways to help lemmings reach higher areas.
  • Blocker: Stands still and blocks other lemmings from passing, redirecting their path.
  • Basher: Digs horizontally through walls.
  • Climber: Climbs up vertical surfaces.
  • Floater: Uses a parachute to descend from heights safely.
Each level presents a unique set of challenges and requires strategic thinking to determine the optimal use of each lemming’s abilities. The goal is to save as many lemmings as possible by guiding them to the exit.
